District lines are changing. California redrew its congressional map in 2025–26 as part of a mid-decade redistricting response to Texas's redistricting push. Voters approved the new map in a November 2025 special election, and it takes effect starting with the November 2026 election. So the boundaries — and possibly which representative covers your address — could shift after this year's election. If you want to confirm your district under the new map, it's worth checking your state election office or the U.S. Census Bureau.
